That’s where I come in. I help novelists untangle complicated manuscripts and turn big-picture problems into clear, actionable revision plans. I start by understanding what you’re trying to accomplish, then dig into the manuscript to figure out what’s getting in the way—and why. From there, we can identify concrete ways forward while keeping your vision for the book at the center of the process.

I’ve published eight standalone books in multiple genres with four of the Big Five publishing houses. I know what it’s like to sit on the other side of an editorial letter—to hear that something isn’t working, wrestle with revisions, and turn editorial feedback into a stronger book. I offer you the opportunity to benefit from that experience. I’m also a career educator with a master’s degree in adult learning. My goal isn’t just to help you fix this book; it’s to help you become a better writer.

Editorial Assessment

Not sure what’s working, what isn’t, or what your manuscript needs next? I’ll take a big-picture look at your book, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and give you a clear, actionable plan for revision.

  • I read the entire manuscript and provide 8-10 pages of feedback

  • I’ll look at character development, world-building, plot, pacing, structure, POV, and theme to understand how all the pieces are working together—and where they may be getting in the way of the book you’re trying to write.

  • We’ll have a one-hour call to answer questions and brainstorm any areas you’re stuck on.

  • I provide email support during your revisions to help with anything that comes up as you work.

Developmental Edit

Ready to dig deeper? I’ll take a detailed look at your manuscript to identify what’s working, what isn’t, and what you can do to make the book stronger.

  • I read the entire manuscript and provide 10–15 pages of detailed feedback.

  • I’ll look at character development, world-building, plot, pacing, structure, POV, and theme, with specific suggestions for addressing problems and strengthening the story.

  • I’ll provide detailed inline comments throughout the manuscript to flag issues, ask questions, and offer ideas as they arise on the page.

  • We’ll have a one-hour call to answer questions and brainstorm any areas you’re stuck on.

  • I provide email support during your revisions to help with anything that comes up as you work.

Publishing Coaching
